With heavenly bodies and earthly minds

Can we mere mortal men conquer the world?

We control little else than power and time.

Aught it really require anything less or more?

Every living being is an effect of its ecosystem.

Trudging through turmoil and using making use of the hours,

We are free to affect that which warrants attention.

A bud cannot blossom without its share of spring showers.

Gardens don’t exist of their own accord,

But thanks to the efforts of each individual concord.

Nor does humanity evolve as a whole.

Each of us must mature and grow on our own.
